Still loving Natural Cycles!

anyone else been using NC for a while now? i've been on it for a few years, ever since i switched from Flo, and i really appreciate the accuracy and how much i've learned about my body. snagged an annual subscription again with a referral code, which always saves a decent chunk, like around 20% off the full price. it's super easy to input the codes during checkout online. and yeah, good news for anyone wondering, you can totally use your HSA or FSA for Natural Cycles, which is a huge plus! thinking about finally getting that NC tote bag next time.

Worth it for the annual plan

I was looking for a non-hormonal birth control option and found Natural Cycles. I opted for the Annual Subscription because it included a free Basal Thermometer and seemed like the best value long-term. The setup was straightforward, and I felt like I got a good deal. It felt worth the initial investment.

Good for tracking, thermometer slow

I got the Annual Subscription with the free Basal Thermometer. The app itself is really clear and helpful for tracking. It took about two weeks for the thermometer to arrive, which felt a little long when I was eager to get started. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about the shipping status, though. Overall, a good experience, just wish the thermometer had shipped faster.

Comprehensive tracking, thoughtful design

I decided to try Natural Cycles for hormone-free birth control and purchased the Annual Subscription, which included the Basal Thermometer. The ordering process on the website was clear, and I received my thermometer within a week. The app's interface is very intuitive, and the daily temperature logging is simple. I also appreciate the educational resources available within the app, which helped me understand the algorithm better. I started in Prevention Mode, and it has been quite reassuring to see the daily fertility status. The Oura Ring Integration is something I'm considering for the future, but for now, the thermometer works perfectly. It's a well-thought-out system for anyone wanting detailed cycle tracking and contraception.

Reliable as always

I've been using Natural Cycles for a few years now, and this latest annual subscription was just as smooth as the others. My last subscription ran out, so I just renewed. No surprises, the app works consistently, and I appreciate the continued reliability. It's why I keep coming back.

Pretty cool for tracking

So, I decided to try out Natural Cycles, got the Annual Subscription. I've been trying to get a better handle on my cycle without all the hormones, you know? The app is pretty user-friendly, and it's interesting seeing how my temps fluctuate. Haven't had any issues, it just does what it says it will. Feels good to have a clearer picture of my body.

Does anyone know if they have a student discount? I'm trying to save some cash where I can.

S Sophie 2 months ago
Yeah, they do! I used one last year. You usually have to verify your student status with one of those services, but it worked for me.

how long does it typically take to get the thermometer delivered? i'm in new york and wanna start using it asap.

P Paula 2 months ago
Mine took about a week to get to California. So probably pretty quick for you too.

For NY, I'd say 3-5 business days max. They ship from within the US afaik so it's not super long.

hey thinking about getting NC for birth control. does it actually work like for real? i'm a bit skeptical about an app being birth control.

D Derek 1 month ago
Yeah, it's FDA cleared for birth control, which is a pretty big deal. It's not just some random app, they have to prove it's effective.

My friend uses it and swears by it. You gotta be consistent with your temps though, that's key. But if you are, it's supposed to be really good. Better than the pill for her because no hormones.

Is natural cycles better than something like Flo or Clue? Trying to decide which one to go with.

J June Hughes 1 month ago
NC is actually FDA-cleared as birth control, unlike Flo or Clue. Those are more just cycle trackers. If you want to prevent pregnancy hormone-free, NC is the one.

P Priya 1 month ago
Totally different purposes. Flo/Clue are good for just tracking periods and symptoms. NC is for avoiding pregnancy, so it's a lot more rigorous with the temps and all that.

Can I use my HSA/FSA card for Natural Cycles? Like for the subscription cost?

G Greg B. 1 month ago
Yes, you can! I used my HSA for my annual subscription this year, it went through fine.

My cousin paid with her FSA. It's a medical device basically, so it usually qualifies.
